The GPS waypoints listed below are intended as an adjunct to a printed topographic map. Always carry a map and compass and know how to use them for primary navigation. To our knowledge, the most detailed topographic map of Aconcagua is Aconcagua Trekking Mountaineering, 1:50,000 scale with 50m contour lines, by Zagier & Urruty publications:

The following GPS waypoints should only be used as a general guide and not for primary navigation. These waypoints alone are not adequate for attempting to summit Aconcagua via the Normal Route.
